A verbatim documentary performance, intertwined with a fictional writing. The performance itself encourages people to reflect on their experiences of grief and mental health in what was one of the words biggest medical disasters. We use verbatim to follow the UK's timeline of events throughout the Covid-19 pandemic lockdowns. Built around two main fictional characters, a father and daughter, it portrays how each of these characters dealt with the lockdowns, the dad facing mental health issues, meanwhile his daughter is beginning their first year of studies and living within a university campus.
